Why families choose us

What your child gets here

  1. Montessori and the EYFS together

Your child picks their own work, as Maria Montessori intended. Our teachers plan that work against the Early Years Foundation Stage, so your child covers all seven areas of the national framework.

  2. A room for each stage

Babies start in the Nest. By the time they reach the Butterfly room, children practise the reading and maths they'll need in Reception. Harrow Borough named our sensory room a Champion.

  3. Lunch from our own kitchen

Our cook makes every meal on site and fits four of your child's five a day into lunch. Inspectors gave the kitchen a food hygiene rating of 5.

  4. Four gardens

Children climb the frames and dig in the mud kitchen. The babies have their own garden, and we've put canopies over part of each garden for wet days.

Our approach

The activities are set up so the children are learning without realising they're learning. It's fun.
Evonne, Montessori teacher with 12 years' experience

Maria Montessori saw that young children learn best when they can choose a task and repeat it until they master it. We set up each room so your child can do that, and our teachers check their progress against the EYFS to get them ready for school.

What parents tell us

At just 1.5 years old, settling into a new environment can be challenging, but the care and support he has received have made all the difference. … It's so reassuring as a parent to know your child is happy, well looked after, and thriving.

Reham J, mother, May 2026

When we had our viewing with Jalpa, she put us at ease and we knew our child would be in safe hands. … I'm especially grateful in their support with my son's potty training.

Shugufa D, mother, December 2025

My daughter speaks so beautifully about them and is very happy every morning to go to kindergarten! She has learned a lot from September until now. 10/10

Rodica M, mother, December 2025

It is one of the very few that are exceptionally clean, with an amazingly kind and welcoming staff.

Anca C, mother, December 2025

I've had two of my children attend Buckingham Montessori School, and my third will be joining in September.

Alina A, mother, December 2025

Both my children have been coming here since they were 14 months old. … Nadia in particular in the baby room made us feel like the baby room was safe and nurturing from the get go.
